Mapuche 88 is a digital archive that was created in collaboration with the <\/span>\n Centro de Estudios y Documentaci\u00f3n Memoria Mapuche<\/span>\n<\/a>. The project addresses the Mapuche participation in the 1988 plebiscite. During those years they were confronted with the land division policies of the regime and human rights violations. The Mapuche people participated in the election process, which after the triumph of the NO vote opened a new scenario of negotiations and milestones in the framework of the transition to democracy. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

This initiative was born from Oscar Arias and colleagues such as Juan \u00d1anculef in the NGO CAPIDE. (Development Planning and Advisory Center).
